Cuffs

So far I have made three. They take far more time than my brain thinks they will when I embark on the process. I have used mainly silk fabric and linen. The first is in turquoise and red, this is so I can enter the UK ETSY challenge for March.

Then onto one that is predominately turquoise with seed beads, sequins and fabric rosettes.
Finally strong, pinks, orange and a dash of purple/mauve with machined ribbon cord and some wonderful satsuma coloured disc beads.

Pendants

The base for a pendant. I have been using up all those wonderful small pieces that one saves because it feels wrong to throw them away. I have embellished with machined cord, wire mesh, embroidery and seed beads
This is the finished pendant .

Another before and after pendant. This time the embellishment includes lime green gold work.

Notebooks

The cover for this one is made up of strips of fabric that I have printed from photographs and printed paper towels.

A patchwork of liberty prints, photographs printed on calico, printed text and a few words from my list.

Liberty fabric with a photograph of my Great Grandparents taken a very long time ago.

Spring Garden

Visited the gardens at Kingston Bagpuize House at the weekend. Where I saw many drifts of snowdrops and this beautiful witch hazel.
