A while ago I thought it would be interesting to see how well synthetic lace took silk dye. The first batch was a bit murky for my liking, but I have a project that I will be able to use it for. I have been trying to use up the dyes that I have before buying more. I think mixing different types of dyes did not help. I heard popping noises coming out of the microwave. I now have a different edge to some of the lace as it burnt.
Heart forty is a collage of photographs. It includes one of the pictures that Linda kindly said we could use. Two backgrounds from my painted papers and a photograph taken in New College gardens.

Thank you all for your kind comments on my last post. I know I have some questions to answer and will do soon.

Sue, Wonderful, love your creativity. You are such a talented lady. Hugs
I love your digital heart, the gated heart and your lace came out great. Popping noises from the microwave make me nervous though, you are braver than me. xox Corrine
