I have made a few more brooches with the felted fabric from Cameron. There are some more part made which I will show you another day. When I set this blog up I just wanted to show you some of my creative endeavors. I want to explain why I have not been good at posting or responding to comments recently. The reason is because I had a small operation. I really do appreciate your comments which mean a lot to me and I thank you all.
As to the title we all have moments in our lives when things change forever and twenty years ago this week Jean, my wonderful Mother died and I just wanted to mark it. I know you will have seen this photograph before, it is one I love.

Wishing you a speedy recovery :-)
Your mum looks gorgeous on that photo, really sweet.
Today was exceptional and driving to see friends I was struck the wonderful colours of the leaves. Love your display. I've been thinking of my Mum this month too.
I hope you have fully recovered from your op.
Love the bright colors on those broaches. What a sweet photo of your Mum, I too have one of mine and she is gone 30 years almost, hard to believe. We miss them so much.
Speedy recovery, we miss your regular posting and your creative endeavors. xox Corrine
Sue, Your post touched my heart. I love the picture of your mother and I feel that I have been taking my dear mother's longevity for granted. She is 88, and I don't visit her as much as I should as she lives in another city.
Your work is beautiful as always and the leaves are wonderful. Ours are falling as is the rain.
Life is good but sometimes tough.
Those leaves are lovely, reminds me of an Andrew Goldsworthy photo/art. Those brooches are positively mouth watering! I am always most taken by this color combination, it just warms my soul. That photo of your mom is so sweet, her holding that little purse or something. She must have been a beautiful woman to have been such a pretty child. I lost my mom about 17 years ago. It just never stops hurting, does it? And so life goes on.
I hope you are recovering from your "small operation" quickly and without pain.
Hi Sue,
Hope your feeling better soon.
Beautiful autumn colours.x
Sue, I have a new blog address. Instead of cameronscreations, insert cameronsthreads in the address. Hugs
Jan beat me to it....I also thought 'Andy Goldsworthy' when I saw your first photo. Such beauty in those leaves.
The photo of your mum must be so precious to you....its absolutely delightful :-)
