I realize that what I have made is very simple as I have only added some texture from another piece of paper used free machined stitches and applied treasures gold around the edge.
I only used copy paper having read the information on Jill's blog. All coloured to start with; pale and dark pink as well as mauve. Cheap wax crayons, markal paint sticks, oil pastels and iridescent oil pastels. To finish with I used watered down watercolour paint. I liked the oil pastels and iridescent oil pastels best of all.
Here are a few more sheets ready to be used. I hope to be a bit more adventurous with these. I am taking one of Kim Klassen's courses at the moment so not so much time to make things.

Just lovely. That's the beauty of this technique - you can use recycled paper of course - mine were old letters from the kids school or brown paper - & it can be as simple or as detailed as YOU want. It's great using all those oil pastels I've been hoarding, too ;)

The colours in the notebook cover are very 'you' - looks like a fun technique.
The other sheets look like they have great potential too....
