Notebook Nine and Giveaway

Tenth May 2007 was the date that I started this blog. It felt odd. I am so glad that I did. I have made some great contacts and enjoy reading about your creative work. I promised to have a giveaway with this post. I have been looking back at the work that I have blogged about I decided that for the first item it would be this fabric brooch.

Then a heart pendant that is on a simple commercial cord. This was one of the earliest items I made using the embellisher. I am still not sure about that piece of equipment. I used it again this week for the first time in ages. More of that another time.

And a collection of items for mixed media work or collage. There are postcards, stamps and franked mail items.

If you would like to be included in the giveaway please leave a comment and I will make the draw on St. Patrick's day, March 17th. If you have a preference for any of the three items do say so.

Notebook nine is made from vintage table linen with mixed papers inside. It measures approximately 4" x 5".

Happy weekend.

Ooh first to comment - I would love to be included in your give-away and must say your brooch or heart would be my choices as it is always lovely to handle something someone else has made. Love your notebooks, what will you do with them and last years hearts? Do you sell them or have you an ever expanding storage/display system?
Love Jill x

Nice giveaway prizes! I'd love to be included in the draw, and my fave is the brooch, but, really, any of your prizes would be nice to win! Thanks for the opportunity. Have a great weekend.

I would love to be entered into your give away. Please put my name in the hat and were I to win my preference would be in the same order that you listed your items.

Love your latest book, too, fun way to upcycle the vintage cloth.

You betcha, enter me please, please? I want to hear what you really think about the embellisher, I have always thought it would be a cool piece of equipment to own. Beautiful work as always. xox Corrine

Oh, I'd love that delicate heart, I was lucky enough to win a brooch from you last time!

Lovely notebook.

The embellisher, a wonderful tool, if an expensive luxury. My joints wouldn't cope with a single/5 needle thing. Take a piece of silk or organza, make a wide ribbon & zoom up the middle of it, wonderful distortion. Or it's a blended felt/silky bits layer to add to your already beautiful layers. Keep trying!

As I already own one of your beautiful brooches and a pendant I'd better not enter this time ;-)
But just wanted to say they are really lovely.

A lovely giveaway and it is hard to have a preference. For me, I particularly like the heart pendant. Very pretty.
